Here’s the hardest part of this diet, for some people — injecting yourself with a needle.  No big deal really — Here’s how.  But always use and alcohol wipe first.  Here’s the video. Diet still going great.  Will post more soon.

not too prettyGoing into week three, I finally thought it would be a good idea to share my (ample) measurements, taken on day 4.  I can’t believe I am posting these numbers for the word to see, but hey, no surprises when you look at me.  First, a few words on video: click here.

Now, the measurements

Bust: 40 around, 46 at the biggest.  Bust size, a whopping 40DD!  (After being a 36B/C for like, forever.)

Waist: 41 (ARGGGHHH!)

Hips: 47

Upper arms: 15 and 14.5

Thighs: 25 and 26

The good news: more to love, more to lose.  Doing well, not hungry, and starting to see and feel a little difference.

Hi there — Here’s a little video of week two.  So far, so good — except I just found out that my blogging name, Flacita, which is Spanish for the Thin One, is actually spelled Flaquita, and I cannot change it.  Oh well, I will not let it kill my plans!  I’m down about 12 pounds already, and I am starting to measure myself.  I’ll let you know the horrid truths of the numbers…and we’ll watch them go down together.  Thanks for joining me!

I feel like Little Lotta. Little Lotta It’s time to start a new diet.

I’ve been on every diet known to man and woman, but, like most dieters, I always gained the weight back. It makes it hard to get excited about doing it again. But as the scale is pushing 200 pounds, I know that I must.

In the past week, I looked at Weight Watchers, Diet Center, Quick Weight Loss Center, Doctor’s Plan, Physicians Plan, and every other one I could find, when a friend mentioned a new client of her’s that promised success and PERMANENT (in most cases) weight loss. Now this is for me. I made an appointment.

Well, what a surprise. Somehow, some way, there was this diet that was fast (pound a day), legal, healthy and EASY, and neither I nor any of my friends had ever heard of it.

It’s called the HcG diet, it’s been around since the ’20s, is popular in other countries (and in California and Vegas, for the stars and the strippers). It was studied extensively and reported on in the ’50s in the protocol of Dr. A.T.W. Simeon. A little radical, sounds too good to be true. I’m going to try it. And I’m going to document it.

I will tell you what I ate, how I felt, and how much weight I’ve lost. Plus, I will show you, as each day or few I will photograph or video myself so you can all see the transformation. If this thing works………

Well, end of Week One on HCG; I was up 4 pounds after the initial two-day binge (i.e. feast!) and now am back to where I started.  I made this video of week one.
