Sorry, Jackie, I just saw your note. It’s now almost 3 weeks later, and you should be on maintenance, right? My best tip == be really really good on maintenance, and you will probably NEVER get your appetite back! Good luck! Keep us posted!

Congrats! You look Great. So proud of you! Thanks for sharing, I am on my first 23 days and I am already down 17 lbs. Any tips?
Congratulations on your weight loss. Came across your site while surfing for hcG info.
I have been on an hcG diet for a month now. I’ve lost 28 lbs. (I am a 51 y/o male who was 100 lbs at my worst.)
Being an Engineer, I approached this with some skepticism since there are a more than a few scam-spas that administer hcG shots with dubious results.
My family doctor supervises my program. The program is a very low calorie diet made possible with an appetite suppressant prescription and daily self-administrated hcG shots. I inject the hcG into fat, not intravenously.
Is that the same as your program?
Obviously, the appetite suppressant and the low cal diet, combined with regular exercise are the main source of the weight loss. But, what is remarkable is that the hcG is acting exactly as my Doctor predicted.
It is supposed to signal the brain to consume fat not muscle. I check my fat % regularly with a hand-held electronic gauge and it has consistently shown no muscle loss, and in fact, I have gained about 8 lbs in muscle. My belly fat has become “ mushy” as it breaks down.
I complained about the fact that there is little clinical research to either validate or refute hcG as a weight loss aid. The few studies mentioned on the web resulted in either inconclusive results or showed no significant differences. However, my son, a third-year Biology student at USF, did some digging and found some serious studies that did show hcG to be effective.
It’s hard to do a study on diets, since the researchers would have to control the eating and exercise of all of the subjects for an extended period of time—that’s not usually in the funding.
But, as for me, I have to say that it appears to be working as predicted. I have lost over 50lbs altogether (I practiced diet and exercise before I started with hcG treatment).
I will be down to my ideal weight in a few months.
Congratulations again and you look great.
