Funny thing, on the same day that the papers reported the astronomical rises in obesity in our country, the same paper published a syndicated column on health by Dr. Mehmet Oz, one of the country’s most well known and respected physicians. The headline: The HcG Diet is Risky. Subhead: There are healthier ways to lose weight. I agree — eat less and move more always is best — if you can stick to it. Problem is, as we know, it’s not easy, and for some people, not really doable. But risky? Maybe, although compared to obesity, which is riskier?
In his column, Dr. Oz explains the HcG diet, talks about the controversial 2007 HcG book by Kevin Trudeau, and then gets down to the “risks”. He says that, like with any hormone treatment, this one has health risks — a woman MAY develop cysts or blood clots, and with prolonged use, men MAY have long term consequences.
Well, what about the risks of obesity? We all know that list — most of us with food issues have had it drummed into us for years. I will tell you that, after losing the big 5-0, I was able to reduce my blood pressure meds from three a day to one. My risk of a heart attack or stroke went down significantly. I MAY live longer. Now that’s a risk I’m willing to take.

Diet News? HcG Is!
Filed Under hcg diet | 2 Comments
On Sunday morning, I excitedly searched through the weekend paper to find the headlined article on Obesity — but guess what? Nothing new. Just a few facts and figures (no pun intended) about the rise of Obesity in the US: More than 72 million US adults are obese. 3 out of 11 on average. 1 of 6 adolescents — I totally feel their pain. And childhood obesity is on the rise. It’s a national health catastrophe. So why has the medical world not found a cure?
The answer is two-fold. 1) They have. It’s the HcG Diet. It’s easy, it’s safe, and it works. The medical community has known about HcG for many years. But why hasn’t it been widely tested and used? Part 2) Money. There is so much money to be made in the weight loss industry. 40 to 60 Billion Dollars a year, according to industry experts! What self-respecting business person would want to give that up? Better to keep the country fat and desperate. And spending.
Well, you don’t have to be a statistic. For way less money than you would spend to lose the same weight at a weightloss clinic or buying lots of creepy pre-packaged chemical-laden foods, you can have success with the HcG Diet.
Call, email (hcgdietguru@gmail.com), click on any of our links, or read one of the books on the books page and get started! You can be 20 or 30 pounds thinner by Valentine’s Day. And wouldn’t that be a great way to show the love?
Meanwhile, check out the numbers, from the beginning, by clicking here.

HcG Diet Suddenly All Over the Place!
Filed Under hcg diet | Leave a Comment
When I found HcG about two years ago, I was amazed that after a lifetime of dieting I, nor anyone I knew, had never heard of it before. Now, it’s become the talk of the town! A flyer for a large supermarket chain actually advertised something called the HCG Solution (I’ll be sure to see what that is next time I’m there). It was on the local news last night here in Miami, discussed by a doctor who explained how it works, and commented on by the reporter who said it was unproven and Very Expensive. Well, I’m here to tell you that both those things are Just Not True.
Unproven? Look at me — I AM the proof! I ate a huge amount of sweets over the holidays, including a few mini-creampuffs last night, and have already taken off almost all the excess pounds, just by eating normal-people portions. And therein lies the miracle of HcG — I can now eat one cookie, maybe two if I’m in the mood, but am able to stop myself before I eat the whole box. All I have to do is take a breath and remind myself that the first in is still in my mouth, so I should savor it and let the taste disappear before I stuff another one in. Usually, I forget about having more.
And as for expensive? The only way you have to spend a lot of money on HcG is by paying the greatly inflated fees of the doctors who are putting in orders for their new boats or next vacation paid for by your hard-earned dollars.
Listed around this site are a few companies that sell the exact same stuff for a fraction of the doctor’s cost. I actually paid close to $1,000 my first time, and the doctor never even saw me! You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make yourself thin and gorgeous. Just click on one of these links and you’ll be on your way.

HcG Diet: The First Miracle of 2011!
Filed Under hcg diet | Leave a Comment
Happy New Year! If you’re anything like me around food, which I guess you are or you wouldn’t be here, you’re sitting there feeling like a stuffed Christmas turkey and wondering how you got that way. I say, who cares? Just take control and start right now.
I have no scale today, so am unable to weigh in — good excuse, huh? But I know just from looking at my body that I must be up five or six pounds. Fortunately for me, my HcG diet has given me a new way to eat — less! And fortunately for you, the easiest diet in the world is there for the taking!
Many questions have come up around HcG since I started writing this blog. So, starting today, here are some answers. Number 1) What the heck is the HcG anyway, and is it safe?
HcG is a human polypeptide naturally produced by all people, male and female, animals and even plants! Misnamed as a hormone, it has recently gained fame as “the pregnancy hormone”, as it is produced in great amounts in pregnancy, and is popularly used for fertility. Basically, what it does in a pregnant female is to release stored fat to nourish the developing baby. If there’s no baby, it just releases fat.
Of course, it’s not quite that simple, and I am not a doctor nor a scientist, just a satisfied customer, and that’s how it was originally explained to me. For weight loss, very small amounts of HcG are combined with a very strict very low calorie diet and the pounds just slip away. Don’t worry about keeping the low calorie diet though; HcG produces an appetite suppressing result that lasts for about six weeks, during which you can lose up to a pound a day! (Average seems to be about 25 lbs in the six week course.) And no exercise is required except walking every day.
As for the safety, the only contra-indication is that HcG should not be used by people who have or have had any cancer, although the current thinking in the medical community is that it’s okay. Personally, I wouldn’t ever take that chance, and for those of you in that group, I’m sure you’ll agree that your health is much more important. Other than that, the only reported side effect that I’ve heard of is headaches for the first few days.
HcG has been around since the 1920s, and was studied extensively in the 1950s. It’s been approved for weight loss in other countries for many years, and has only recently become popular in the US.
For all the details, click here to read the original, definitive report on HcG by of Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, probably the world’s greatest authority on HcG. Written over 50 years ago, his program remains the core of an HcG diet.
More answers to popular questions later this week. But don’t wait. Order your HcG today and get started — there’s still six weeks to Valentine’s Day!

I’m a little embarrassed to say that the way I’ve been eating for the past few days would have any neutral observer think I was trying to gain weight! I am an admitted Cookie Monster, and Holiday Cookies are my drug of choice. But despite the delicious options, I still can’t eat like I used to. Two or three, maybe four cookies, and every morning when I weigh myself — a necessity for keeping the weight off — that darn scale stays just about the same! It takes A LOT of serious food abuse to put the weight back on. And if you start to actually gain, well, one of the beauty things about HcG is that you can go back on for a few weeks, before it gets out of hand. I call it willpower in a bottle.
The HcG diet has been for sure the answer to my prayers. Here’s a little video from two years ago March, after my first full month on my HcG diet journey. I hope it inspires you.
Eat your fill now, and enjoy! Then be sure to click on one of these little squares around this post, and prepare to diet.
